This exquisite Kyoto folding fan features the traditional Kyo-Kanoko Shibori dyeing technique—an age-old resist dyeing method native to Kyoto, renowned for its unique, shadowed patterns and subtle depth. The same dyeing artistry is beautifully applied to the accompanying fan pouch.
This exceptional piece was dyed by master craftsman Yasuaki Shigeno, a certified traditional artisan of Japan.
